Simmer Style – Shipping & Duty Information

Some products, including Simmer Style gear, are shipped directly from the manufacturer in Europe. These items are typically shipped via FedEx, DHL, or USPS International, depending on the best available service at the time of shipment.

Shipping is often faster than shipping from our Maryland warehouse. This direct shipping method helps us keep prices competitive while reducing unnecessary handling and domestic shipping costs.

For orders shipped within the United States, customers should not receive any duty, brokerage, customs, or import tax invoices. Any such charges are the responsibility of Loopee Windsurfing.

If you receive an invoice for duties, taxes, brokerage fees, customs charges, or similar import related fees, please contact us before making payment. Such charges may have been issued in error and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.


Shipping Policy for Canada

Please note that customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other import related charges are not included and will be collected directly by the carrier upon delivery.

Large items from brands other than Simmer, including boards, sails, booms, masts, harnesses, and other oversized equipment, are generally not available for shipping to Canada.

Automatic shipping to Canada has been disabled. Orders are handled on a case by case basis. Canadian customers must contact us directly to confirm product availability, shipping options, and shipping costs before placing an order.


Maui Ultra Fins

All Maui Ultra Fins ship from our Maryland warehouse.

In stock fins generally ship immediately. Pre order fins are included in our next Maui Ultra Fins shipment. Due to the large number of fin combinations available, we cannot stock every model and size.

We stock the most popular models and offer pre orders for all others. Because we receive regular shipments from Maui Ultra Fins, most pre ordered fins typically ship within 2 to 3 weeks of purchase.

If the items in your order that qualify for free shipping total $199 or more, your order ships FREE on most eligible orders within the contiguous United States.

Free shipping offers may be subsidized by Loopee Windsurfing and may not reflect the actual shipping costs incurred.

Actual shipping costs may exceed the shipping amount charged at checkout.

In the event of a return, refusal of delivery, or cancellation after shipment, the actual outbound shipping costs paid by Loopee Windsurfing may be deducted from any refund, regardless of the shipping amount charged at checkout or whether free shipping was offered.

Free shipping does not apply to:

  • Oversized items

Shipping Information

Most orders ship within 48 business hours of purchase, excluding weekends and holidays.

Small items are generally shipped from our Maryland warehouse.

Many boards, sails, booms, masts, and other large items are shipped directly from the distributor or manufacturer.

Orders may be shipped via FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, or other carriers depending on package size, weight, destination, and service availability.

A shipping confirmation email will be sent once your order has shipped.


Special Order Products

Products ordered specifically for a customer, special order items, and products sourced from manufacturers at a customer's request may not be eligible for cancellation or return once the order has been placed with the supplier.


Boards (Continental United States)

Boards generally ship by quotation.

Boards may be delivered:

  • To a major airport freight facility

  • Directly to your address

Shipping costs typically range from $150 to $600 depending on destination, size, carrier, and service level.

For shipping to Canada, please contact us before placing an order. Most large items, including boards, sails, booms, and masts, are not available for shipping to Canada, with the exception of certain Simmer products.

Direct From Distributor Items

A Direct From Distributor item is a product that ships directly from a manufacturer or distributor rather than from our Maryland warehouse.

Shipping methods, transit times, and shipping costs may vary based on the item, destination, and availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, our customer service team will contact you with available options.


International Shipping Information

Please contact info@loopeewindsurfing.com for international shipping quotes.

To provide an accurate quote, please include:

  • The products you wish to purchase

  • Your complete shipping address

For international orders, including shipments to Canada, customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, and any other charges imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges.


Shipping Damage Claims

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

If you notice damage to the packaging or product, especially boards, you must note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt or bill of lading at the time of delivery.

Failure to document shipping damage at delivery may prevent us from filing a claim with the carrier.

If you receive a damaged shipment, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery by phone or email.

Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.

In cases of severe shipping damage, customers may refuse delivery. Once the shipment is returned and verified by the carrier, a refund will be issued.


Minor Shipping Damage

For minor shipping damage, customers may choose to have the product repaired.

Loopee Windsurfing may reimburse repair costs up to 10% of the product's purchase price.

To qualify:

  • Photos of the damage must be submitted before repairs begin

  • A repair estimate must be approved in advance


Board Damage Claims

All board damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Claims must include photographs of the damage.

Boards must remain unused until the claim is resolved.

Damage claims will not be accepted for boards that have been used, sailed, or ridden after delivery.
